Change-log deletion is a house keeping activity and it has to be done on a regular basis. Hope you know change-logs are for delta loads from DSOs to further.
Once after the successful delta loads from DSOs, you need to keep them for 1 week for any unforseen circumstances. We always delete change-logs older than 1 week(7days).
No problems will occur if you do like above.
