I have tried having a look if there has been any occurrence of the same before I raised this request.
There has been an issue concerning the compression of an infocube in the process chain. The Compression job has been failing with a short dump. Also if we try to do it manually by navigating to the Administration of the Infocube and when I click on the Rollup tab in infocube administration it fails with another Short Dump as detailed below.
An extract of the short dump is as shown below. It shows an error message “RSM_DATASTATE_CHECK-11-” as shown below.
Furthermore when I checked the base table RSMDATASTATE as mentioned in some of the earlier discussions I saw that for the cube which I am trying to compress I can see the below values as in the screenshot.
But I am concerned about the Initial values in the fields ROLLUP_RSVD_DUAL, ROLLUP and COMPR_AGGR.
Also when I click on the Rollup tab in infocube administration it fails with another System Dump with an error message “RSM_DATASTATE_CHECK-2-” as shown below.
Which I was able to find some documents on (http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1838739)
But the solution that has been provided is the same as in the table RSMDATASTATE for the cube in question (Screenshot below)
