After copying system from production you need to do lot of activities like BDLS run,check RFC connection,etc etc from Basis End.some times RFC connection becomes inactive.u need to activate it.check delta loads in BW by running IPs.

You need to check the inbound/outbound queues of source system (SMQ1/SMQ2) and ensure its destination is your particular BW System.In some cases u will find some other system will be there in destination.if this is the case,delta IPs will run for long time and then fail.Run few MD and Transaction Data PC.
