Dear Expert Please share your experience on how to display time dependent attribute in query designer. My requirement/issue I have 0employee as master data, inside cost center etc attribute are time dependent attribute. Also I have 0HR_PA_4 (headcount for last day for a month) data flow, above which is a DSO as following Key fields: 0employee 0calday Data fields : 0calyear 0calmonth2 0count As 0employee is time dependent , it might have several data for an employee (employee and dateto are the key fields) Employee  dateto                datefrom            costcenter 1                  2015/12/31      2000/01/01        A 1                  9999/12/31      2016/01/01        B In the DSO, it has data like this :  0employee                0calday                  0calyear            0calmonth2        0count 1                                  2015/11/30              2015                  11                                1 1                                  2015/12/31            2015                  12                                1 1                                    2016/01/31            2016                  01                                1 1                                    2016/02/29            2016                  02                                1 Here is my report --- estimated result 0CALYEAR              0CALMONTH2      0COSTCENTER            0COUNT 2015                            11                              A                                    1 2015                                12                            A                                    1 2016                                01                              B                                    1 2016                                02                            B                                      1 But it does not show as it is. It shows all the cost center as B.  ONLY the latest value.  It does not display the right cost center according to the time (0calyear 0calmont2 -- > 0calday). I have tried following two things to regulate the 0DATETO 0DATEFROM, but not work. 1. I created a composite provider, join the DSO and the 0employee, and link the 0employee infoobject from DSO to 0employee master data.  in this case, I could not see the 0DATETO 0DATEFROM, I COULD NOT SEE  those two time infoobject in the composite provider. In my query, I input the value 2015/11/30  OR 2016/01/20, two dates separately into the key date setting in the query itself, but the result did NOT change the cost center accordingly. 2. I also create an INFOSET, by this way, I could flag the 0DATETO 0DATEFROM and see them in the query designer, but the query designer does not allow to create any restriction: such as variable on those two info-object, and I see a time interval info-object displayed in the query designer. I tried to input value for this time interval info-object, it allowed, but it does not work.  ALSO the key date for the query setting is not working. SO, I don’t know why I could not display the cost center according to the valid time period:  1. How can I create the relationship of 0calday from the DSO to the 0dateto 0datefrom in the 0employee, and only retrieve the right row (time period) of an employee record? Could you please share your experience into a relative detailed? 2. What’s does the time interval meaning here, and how to use it? Is it working? thanks a lot. Best Regards, Bin
