Difference between Data in the InfoCube before and after Integrated Planning?

Real time cube is used for planning. We can load the data (mostly plan) to the Real time cube thru the regular ETL or thru Integrated Planning by creating planning functions.

Once you execute the planning functiions plan data will be populated into the Realtime cube.

When to create Integrated Planning(at what requirement?

If you want to populate the plan data to the cube either manually thru Input ready Query or with the help of Integrated Planning functions.

EX:

Salesman      Points Acheived         Target            Month        

S1                     6                              10              JAN

S2                    15                             10              FEB

S3                    12                            15              MAR

Here the target field is populated thru Integrated planning.
