Thanks all for your responses. The issue was solved by myself and it was due to buffering settings of SID tables in our system. As the SID tables were fully duffered, the new SIDs which are created in the table are not reflected in the buffer and hence the error. We have deactivated the buffer and it is working fine. SAP notes 912174 and 550784 explain about this issue. Thanks.

Hi, Yes I have noticed exclude is not an option when loading from InfoObject. You can solve it in start routine in the transformation with DELETE SOURCE_PACKAGE where 'InfoObject' = 'X'. You have to have one line per item unless you can use from-to, CP, ... Regards, Reynir

in the meanwhile I was able to test my scenario also without startoutine, in 7.31 and 7.40
The result is very disappointing!
What has been known since 2013 is still not resolved: http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1145673
That means, even an empty startroutine still causes the problem that DTP filter restrictions with navigational attributes don't work properly!
I'm really wondering why even in the third version (don't believe it worked in 7.30), SAP has not been able to correct this error!!! It is not even solved in BW on HANA...
I will open a new OSS note now.

Now, BASIS team extended memory for data at source system (SAP ECC6.0)
abap/heap_area_da = 3 GB (For dialog job)
abap/heap_area_noda = 6 GB (For background job)
If the problem is not solved, I will ask them to extend the table space at DB level.

I am trying to activate standard BI content: multiprovider PIO/AB_MP02 it refers ADSO /IMO/SD_D52,
but since this version of BI content names have been changed and now this ADSO name is /IMO/D_SD52
This does not allow me to activate this Multiprovider as part of BI content.
Please suggest - what can be done in this case?
Can BI content be modified before installation?

For Stock Overview MP I'm using Material Movements (2LIS_03_BF) and Revaluations (2LIS_03_UM). Data looks good in the MultiProvider. In the reports based on the MP I have many cases where the revaluation gets duplicated. In below example in 06/2015 there was a revaluation with no Base Unit for -1,779.009.41. Prior to 06/2015 there were no Movements or Revaluations for this Material but report 0VALSTCKVAL to be specific is duplicating that revaluation so it shows entry at 12/2014 and once again at 06/2015. I would expect it to only show entry starting at 06/2015. That duplicate has a Base Unit and no Value Received or Value Issued. Duplicate is ofcourse throwing totals off.
Has anybody seen this before where revaluations (0valstckval) are being duplicated while your infoprovider is correct?
First install Multiprovider and activate it.

May I know the version of the system you are using.
See if the new ADSO available in the system needs to be installed and activated first so that you will be able to activate your MP.
Kindly check whether you are able to view all the ADSO's available in the system under the ADSO tab of the multiprovider. All the available objects would be displayed only if the multiprovider is in change mode. Once after that, try to locate the old as well as the new ADSO /IMO/D_SD52 and ensure that the check box is unchecked for the old DSO.

I really need your help. I´m trying to do a rri but I have the following issue.
I have to pass two infoobjects as senders (0PLANT and ZWRK02) to one infoobject as reciever (ZINFMM11___F21 => it's 0PLANT infoobject in Infoset) and I couldn't do it.
I tried with most of the possible combinations on "Selection Type".
Now I have the following setting (please check the picture)
With this setting, I only get the detail of 0PLANT but not ZWRK02.
I thought of trying with a variable, but I didn't find how to implement it. Any tutotail about it, please?
I already read the links, but none explains what I need.

Are you working on a BW on HANA system?
aDSOs are only available in BW on HANA and as a consequence, the related BI Content cannot be used for BW on anyDB.
If your BW system is on HANA, please review SAP Note 2257232 - Do not activate Business Function /IMO/BW_CONTENT. You should activate Business Function /IMO/BWCONTENT after importing one of the below mentioned support packages as soon as the are available:

BI_CONT 7.47 SP16
BI_CONT 7.57 SP9

I received an update regarding my OSS note and it seems that the "expected" logic works like assumed, if you follow SAP's expectation 
:
I've checked the DTP and technically it works correctly.
In 7.3x/7.40/7.50 there is the possibility to have a choosen field
list for the start/end routine. When i logged on, the start routine
had more than 40 fields in the field list, but only 23 fields of the
source cube had assigned rules to them.
As the data is read in an aggregated form (just like in a query), the
number of records depends on the fields in the drilldown. As the
number of the fields in the field list of the start routine were
almost double of the number of fields which had rules assigned to
them, the system could not aggregate that much and therefore the
number of extracted records was bigger.
After i've adjusted the field list of the transformation, the DTP now extracts
the same amount of data you mention in your attachment even if there
is a start routine. The field list of the startroutine works exactly like a query.
For example if you have only 0CALYEAR in the drilldown, only one record is
displayed for each year.
If however you additionally add 0CALMONTH, there will be 12 rows for
each year. The same applies for the field list of the startroutine.
That means, "just creating" a startroutine is not sufficient. You need to adjust the list of used characteristics for the startroutine. If only the fields of the target (Infosource or Infoprovider) is chosen, then the DTP selection works as expected.

facing issue in transformation :
Requirement : I have to get data into target infooject on the basis of combination of some infoobjects. Here, there is one DSO , say DSO1, which act as source for data, means i have to lookup for data into this DSO.
E. G. : read reciever (target) Network based on Source Network, Source WBS, Source Activity.
Approach :
1. Read using rule type : read from DSO.
2. Or write a routine that will use a select query to read data from this DSO1.
But in both the cases,Target Network is taking exact value as the SOurce network, whatver i put into Source netwrok. when i debugged, i found that both above approachs are working fine, but, there is one piece of source code (conversion) that is written in background that is converting source network and putting into Target Network, whatever i put into source. means bypasisng the rules.
Below is the code that is called in In (LCL_TRANSFORM) method,

Here, practically, _R_55-AUFNR should have the RESULT value, but it contains the source network value and passing it exactly into Target Network (_G_1-RECV_NETW).

It is difficult to judge what is happening in your case. I suggest that you share a screenshot of the Transformation Rule (so that we can see the source fields and target field). Also I would like to see an extract of the Transformation program where we can see the coding of the respective Transformation Rule.
It has to do with the ALPHA conversion (as set in Characterstic 0RECV_NETW). Within the Transformation this is shown with next to it a checkbox whether the ALPHA conversion should be executed or not. In some cases it cannot be deactivated. Please see also the on-line help for this checkbox.
